Hi, I'm Roxanne Perez, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and travel advisor with Dream Vacations. Most people know me as Roam with Rox.
I take the stress out of travel planning so you can focus on what truly matters- making unforgettable memories with the people you love. People often ask why I became a travel advisor. The answer is simple.
I have always loved planning our family vacations and helping friends and family plan theirs. But a few years ago, my husband and I took our two adult daughters and son- in- law on a trip to Italy. It was more than just a vacation- it was time spent together creating memories we'll treasure forever.
After we returned home, we found a beautiful painting of Cinque Terre (at Hobby Lobby!) and bought one for each of our daughters. On the back of each painting we wrote a letter sharing how much the trip meant to us and how we hoped they would always cherish those memories. We gave them the paintings as Christmas gifts that year, and seeing both of them moved to tears is a moment I will never forget.
That experience reminded me that while souvenirs may fade, the memories with family and friends last a lifetime. In that moment, I knew I wanted to help other people experience the joy of creating memories they would cherish for years to come.
